This unit comes with 10HP single cycle 4 stroke air-cooled diesel engine with recoil start & electric start and delivers 6500 watts surge, 5600 watts continuous. It runs for 7hrs at full load & 10hrs at 1/2 load on 3.3 gallons of fuel. Nice features include a fuel tank gauge, run-hours meter, 120v/240v selector, and electric start; 3 and 4 prong twist power plugs were included too. The 6-wheels (2 pneumatic + 4 small rollers) make it pretty easy to move around. The engine is made by Changfa, generally recognized as an excellent Chinese company with a real understanding of quality control. Overall All Power America APG3201 Diesel Powered Generator is a good alternative of gasoline generators.

One drawback -Instructions are lacking.

For example one has to purge the fuel injector to get it to run the first time(five minutes), which should have been in the instruction manual. Overall runs wells and price is right compared to competing models.
