ETQ TG32P12 4000 Watt 7 HP 207cc 4-Cycle OHV Gas Powered Portable Generator (Non-CARB Compliant)

Priced around $340, this 3250-watt portable generator provides enough power to run your TV, refrigerator, water heater, or other household appliance for up to 13 hours at a 50-percent load. It includes a portability kit to make this heavy-duty generator easily mobile. It produces mere 68-decibels at 21-feet, making this generator an ideal choice noise is a consideration.

You will like the like the fact that wheels and a fold away handle are included, and the unit starts easily and is fairly quiet. One negative thing is the pull start handle is blocked by the front panel, making it necessary to pull the rope partway out and then pull it at about a 30 degree angle to the motor to start it. This isn't a big problem, but over time it might cause the rope to wear faster than if you could pull it straight out.

Another thing - the oil reservoir is nearly impossible to fill without a long, very narrow funnel, but since you may only do this once every few years, again, no big deal. Overall it’s a great little machine that does it’s job well.

ETQ TG72K12 8,250 Watt 13 HP 420cc 4-Cycle OHV Gas Powered Portable Generator with Electric Start (Non-CARB Compliant)

Priced at $773 this is ETQ's most robust gas-powered portable generator. It has a powerful electric start engine with auto throttle idle control feature conserves fuel and extends engine life by lowering RPMs. However, the battery and it is nice to have but not necessary. This unit starts easily and you would only buy a battery if it is going to be started by someone unable to pull the rope. The main breaker is a good feature, you can keep everything connected and utilize the switch.

The noise is 85 Decibels on idle control adjacent to the generator and 93 under load. At 20 feet under load it measured 85.

It has a built in hour meter, a fuel gauge on the gas tank and even came with a small toolkit (for assembly) and a specialized bracket for lifting the generator with a crane, cherry picker, etc.

It is a first class product in construction and components and you can't begin to find any other brand 7,250 watt generator (8,250 surge) for this price.
